Fun Afternoon with East Coast Truckers
Posted on 21st January, 2008

As chairman of the Attleborough Players, it is times like Saturday afternoon that makes me feel proud of our organisation.

Playing to nearly 200 mentally and physically handicapped children for the East Coast Truckers charity matinee, this is always so much fun.

This years panto, Babes in the Wood, written by Derek Tomlinson and produced by Debbie Thatcher, is two hours of sheer farce and knockabout comedy, played up to the hilt by the players.

The Truckers audience is always responsive, but this year the participation from the children was deafining, especially for myself as the villian. I got the feeling that they would have strung up given the chance!

My thanks to eveyone concerned. It was a magical afternoon, great fun and wonderful news that they have booked us for next year.

Regards,

Graham Smith
