Fright Night
Rehearsals are underway for our Autumn Production. Caroline has introduced quite a few new members. We hope you enjoy the rehearsals and will want to stay on for the panto in January. There is a rehearsal schedule in the secure area of the site. Please contact Caroline in advance if you cannot make ANY rehearsals. It is important to give Caroline 100% support. This is her first production and, not only has she written the majority of the script, but she is choreographing the dancing as well. I shall be directing the sketches on stage whilst Caroline works on the dancing, then in September she will join the two together. This show should be great. Let's give Caroline the support she deserves and also, most importantly, let's sell out the performances.
Chairman on the Move
At long last I move into my new house on August 12th (Sunday), 17 Bunyan Close, 'Dustbindale', Thorpe, Norwich. Katy and Isla have kindly said they would help unpack. If you aren't doing anything (yes I know this is blackmail) please contact me on 07894444909. I would really appreciate the help as I am a Sagittarian. A fish and chip lunch will be available.
Barn Clearance
As the barn is in a state, we have organised a clear out on Sunday 19th August at 11am. Katy will organise the skips plus we have agreed that the money we won with the float at this year's carnival will pay for a bar-b-que catering (plus, the icing on the cake, Helen will supply her famous fruit pies). Please, for those not on holiday, do come along. Partners, children, and friends of the Players are all welcome to sort the barn out ready for the Autumn. Please let Katy know the numbers for catering.

Next Production
Debbie Thatcher will produce our annual pantomime, Babes in the Wood. Derek Tomlinson is working on the script which promises to be great fun. This will be performed January 2008. Plus Good News! The East Coast Truckers will be attending a charity matinee. This is always a magical afternoon, and we look forward to performing for the Truckers in the New Year. We always like to support the Truckers financially with the matinee, and we raise money from the sale of classical CD's on sale at Myhills. CD's are 1 each and we have hundreds of them. Please tell your friends to pop in and buy as many as they can to support the Trucker's matinee.
After the panto or next production scheduled for four performances in July will be the stage version of 'Allo, 'Allo. This promises to be something special as the script is hysterical. We hope to have Hugh Lynch, Old Buckenham School drama teacher to produce for us and JVC are sponsoring the performing rights for the production as, like us, they can't wait to see it. This is going to be a massive task with scenery, costumes, props etc., but with our customary enthusiasm, it should not be too much of a problem. This should be the Players' biggest ever production. Auditions will start late in January. I am sure we can picture the Players in certain roles.
