Over the past 2 nights we've had 12 superb Acts to entertain us in Attleborough Player's very own Attleborough's Got Talent show. In the final on Friday 12th June all acts through from the previous night up'd their gain to a very high standard indeed and with only 7 points between all 12 acts, the judges had very difficult decisions to make!
Why not come along and show us how talented you are at Attleborough Player's very own Attleborough's Got Talent. And remember ANY AGE, ANY TALENT WELCOME!
In February 2009 we were pleased to be a part of the local Talking Newspaper in which Nick Jones kindly popped over to one of our meetings and interviewed some members of the players for some history on the players, themselves and what they love most about Attleborough's Finest.
The Attleborough Players have just finished their panto for 2009, Aladdin to another packed audience over the 4 performances. The show was performed over the days of the 29th, 30th and 31st January 2009. A big thankyou to our continued supporters, friends and family. The players rehearsals for our next production, panto Aladdin are going well, with a near full house last week at the Connaught Hall. It's great to see the children who are now joining us for rehearsals on Thursday evenings and the atmosphere is electric. Again, another good script from the very clever Derek Tomlinson.

After careful consideration, our October show is to be 're-branded' as such. After many discussions and thoughts, our show on the 11th October will now be advertised as "The One Big Night Out!" After a six month rehearsal schedule, the Attleborough Players staged their most ambitious production to date, with producer Hugh Lynch in charge, it was guaranteed to be a classic, based on the popular TV comedy series.
Members of the Attleborough Players will be walking with the carnival this Sunday (13th July) at Attleborough's Carnival Float procession, where we will be collecting donations for charity. Look forward to seeing you there!

With only 2 days until the players first night of Allo Allo, it's full steam ahead with the production team and actors.
If you have not already done so, and you wish to watch the show, please order your tickets with either AW Myhill (Tel: 01953 453107) or The Flower Box (01953 453533) as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. Tickets are being sold very quickly and with the Saturday performance nearly sold out within the first 2 weeks of being on general release, Allo Allo may prove to be our best play of all time.
In preparation of our pantomine for 2009, the Attleborough Players are calling for all children aged between 8 and 14 to come and join us for auditions. Auditions will be held during August 2008, so make sure you are free and please pop along and try out. It's hard work, but it's also fun and enjoyable.

The Attleborough Player's Annual General Meeting will be held at The Connaught Hall at 7.30pm on Monday 28th April 2008.
As chairman of the Attleborough Players, it is times like Saturday afternoon that makes me feel proud of our organisation.

Saturday 13th October 2007 saw the last of 3 performances of the players recent production of Caroline Wood's Fright Night and what a performance by all! We hope all that turned up to watch enjoyed a night of scary fun with music, sketches and dance and our biggest thanks to all that continue to support The Attleborough Players.
Don't forget that our next event is our ever so successful 'Who Wants to Be A Millionaire' Fish and Quiz night to be held on Friday 9th November 2007.

SThe Attleborough Players have just cracked into the first rehearsal of the autumn production, Fright Night written by Caroline Wood which all you lucky people will be able to watch when it comes to the Connaught Hall on the 11th, 12th and 13th October 2007.
Fright Night will promise to be a good all-round show of comedy sketches, songs and dances linked around a scary theme! The feint-hearted need not apply!!
Attleborough Players are yet again winners of the Attleborough Carnival Float competition coming joint first.
The Carnival took place today at the Recreation Ground, Attleborough with the floats leaving Fairfield Drive for the long trip through town finishing at the Rec for judging.
This is great news for the players as they get ready for their Carnival show Moonshine, which starts this Thursday on the 21st June for 3 nights. For further details please view the players production page.
