Philip Hinchley

Philip discovered his love for stage whilst attending Old Buckenham Secondary School when he was 13. In 1968 he appeared in a production of Thornton Wilder's Our Town At College. He joined the players in 1986 and has acted in many productions since then. In panto he has played various roles including dame, villian, monster and his favourite panto character, Buttons in Cinderella. In the 2005 panto Alice In Pantoland, he player the Doormouse. He has a passion for serious drama and has appeared as Mr Manningham in Gaslight and as Will Mossop in Hobsons Choice. His comedy appearances include leading roles in Sailor Beware, There Goes The Bride and Queen Elizabeth Slept Here. Philip has also appeared in musical productions including the players two world premieres, Bloodline and My Polly. He played the title role in The Drunkard.
